Job Description

Essential Job Duties

  • Manage the full legal billing lifecycle for assigned attorneys and clients, from pre-bill generation and editing through final invoice submission and payment follow-up.
  • Administer complex client billing arrangements, including billing rules, rate structures, fee agreements, volume discounts, and e-billing compliance requirements.
  • Submit and monitor invoices through multiple e-billing platforms, resolving invoice rejections, reductions, and dispute issues to ensure timely payment.
  • Maintain client and matter billing data within Aderant, including rates, timekeeper approvals, billing codes, and electronic billing configurations.
  • Partner with attorneys, clients, and collections staff to address outstanding invoices, accrual reporting, special billing requests, and client-specific reporting needs.
  • Provide billing process expertise by training attorneys and staff, managing billing documentation, and supporting special projects and process improvements.
